Astère, meaning ‘star’, is a luxury brand founded in Switzerland that create beautiful handcrafted trunk and handbag collections made only possible with multi-generational tradition and expert leather craftsmanship.

An elegant, timeless identity for a successful launch

Working closely with the founder, our goal was to craft a brand identity that would:

  1. Capture the brand's essence—sophisticated yet playful, elegant yet free-spirited,

  2. Embody tradition, craftsmanship, and luxury characteristics with a contemporary touch that is appealing to women from 20s to 50s+,

  3. Engage with a distinguished and tactile experience in various touchpoint both digital and physical.

As a tribute to the brand’s heritage and a heartfelt nod to its iconic handcrafted trunk handbag, we crafted a logo featuring the trunk’s elegant outline paired with a handwritten "A," the initial of the brand name, complemented by a timeless, sophisticated typeface for the wordmark. This versatile identity balances sophistication with a playful elegance, shining whether the logo stands alone or pairs with the wordmark, offering versatile and flexible options that flow effortlessly across digital and physical touchpoints. A harmonious color palette was carefully developed to mirror the diverse materials and styles of Astère’s collections.

The result delivered a successful launch of Astère’s storefront, website, and social media presence, establishing a strong, lasting market foothold that resonates with the brand’s refined yet free-spirited vision.
